What we are proud of
Today, on Pakistan's 75th Independence Day, we are proud of
our country and what it has achieved in such a short time. We are proud of our
rich culture and heritage, and the diversity of our people. We are proud of our
natural resources, and the hard work and determination of our people. We are
proud of our accomplishments, and the progress we have made in spite of difficulties.
We are proud of our constitution, which guarantees equality and justice for
all. And we are especially proud of the young people of Pakistan who are
leading the way towards a bright future for our country. They are energized by
the opportunity to serve their country and play an active role in shaping its
destiny. These include youngsters from many different backgrounds; men and
women; those with disabilities; members of minority communities; those from
traditionally rural areas; minorities from other countries who migrated here
with hopes for a better life; the list goes on. All these examples remind us
that today is a day to feel proud about being a part of this great nation. May
this spirit of freedom leads us all to success and glory in life. Happy Independence!
Qaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinah
Qaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the founder of Pakistan.
He was born on 25th December 1876 in Karachi. He was a brilliant student and
got his law degree from Lincoln's Inn in London. He started his political
career by joining the Indian National Congress but later left it due to its
anti-British stance. Jinnah rose to prominence in the Muslim League and played
a pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan. He is revered as Quaid-e-Azam or
Great Leader and Baba-e-Qaum or Father of the Nation. On 14 August 1947, he
became the first Governor General of Pakistan and led the country through its
early years. Jinnah passed away on 11 September 1948, just over a year after
Pakistan's independence. His legacy will be always remembered. It's an honor
for me to be a Pakistani. I feel proud of being a part of this great nation
where our forefathers sacrificed their lives for our freedom. May this spirit
of freedom leads us all to success and glory in life. Happy Independence!

1947.

great nation.
10. May this spirit of freedom leads us all to success and
glory in life. Happy Independence, observed annually on 14 August . The history
behind it may be controversial but there's no denying its importance to
Pakistan. It was an emotional day for those who sacrificed their lives for the
creation of our beloved homeland, giving up everything they had ever known -
including peace and tranquility - for what would become the home for millions
of others like them who yearned for change. Though often tinged with pain and
regret, Independence Day should be celebrated not only as a reminder of how far
we've come but also as motivation to make sure that our future generations
continue moving forward together.
