The advancement of technology over the last hundred years
has been nothing short of astounding, and it’s only going to continue advancing
in the next hundred years and beyond. With how fast technology is advancing,
it’s difficult to imagine what life will be like in fifty or a hundred years,
let alone two hundred or five hundred, but these five technologies might just
have the power to fundamentally change everything about humanity and its
existence as a species on this planet and beyond that we call home.

Future technology has the potential to drastically change
the human race as a whole. These changes could be physical, such as cybernetic
implants, or they could be mental, such as artificial intelligence. Here are
five technologies that could have a profound impact on the future of the human
race.
While some of these five future tech trends may sound scary
(and a few do come from horror movies), each one can potentially improve our

whether these claims are valid or not. That being said, let’s take a look at

lives.
I'm going to focus on three revolutions in medicine, namely
genetics, 3D printing, and robotics. These three advancements alone will cause
changes we haven't seen since evolution first occurred millions of years ago -
here's how they'll change the future of the human race.

the future of the human race will be greatly impacted by technology. As such,

the human race. In order to do this though, I think we need to start looking at
future tech like not only a cool development but also an ethical
responsibility. Technology could very well decide whether humanity survives or
not in the future.
5) Entertainment
There's no doubt about it, entertainment is one of the most
important aspects of our lives. It's a way to relax, escape reality, and
explore new worlds. And as technology advances, so does our ability to be
entertained. Here are five future technologies that will change everything
about entertainment as we know it.
From holographic 3D screens to neural interface systems that
allow us to directly experience events from another person’s perspective, these
technologies have been designed with entertainment in mind. At their core they
reflect what seems to be a key trend among future technologies—that they should
augment human capabilities rather than replacing them. This idea of
augmentation was first conceived by scientist and science fiction author Vernor
Vinge in his 1993 essay The Coming Technological Singularity when he said We
will soon create intelligences greater than our own... [and] as intelligence
rises above human levels, it will necessarily relinquish its physical form.
Augmented reality interfaces reflect that future because they're designed to
enhance what we can do instead of simply replacing certain tasks altogether with
artificial intelligence. If you look at Apple's new ARKit 2 system which
recently debuted on iOS 12, you'll see how AR has taken this notion of
augmentation to the next level. With iOS 12 users can easily create augmented
reality games and apps that let people see things like exploding watermelons or
hovering birds through an iPhone or iPad camera lens. It doesn't take much
imagination to think about how this kind of interactive experience could
revolutionize other fields too--from construction engineering and home design
all the way up to surgical planning for medical students.
